Who is She?
Hi!
My name is Sam, actually Samantha to be precise, and I’m an all round doer of all things. Anything that seems interesting, challenging, or creatively inspiring is my muse, and my cue to act.
My double life consists of bookbinding, printing, greeting card making, and of course my inner passion, writing.
I love to garden, cook ( at times), create, sew, and most of all inspire others around me to seek out the ‘handmade’ life.
Where is She ?
Currently I am an ex-pat Aussie, who is now implanted in the South of the United States. Talk about a change huh! No, seriously, since coming to the States, I have learnt so much about myself, humanity, and of course inner creativity. Life is how you live it, what you do with it, and of course is not as always as it seems.
What inspires her?
I am inspired by a lot of things really. I’m truly appreciative of how women have made a life for themselves without the aid of men. This in a sense is my intuitive belief that a great writer and fellow woman once wrote
“ How wrong it is for a woman to expect the man to build the world she wants, rather than to create it herself.”- Anais Nin.
There are many things that make me smile. Like the simple mischievous flight of a hummingbird, to the downright craziness of simple humor. I smile when I discover things about myself that I had not seen, or felt before. I smile at a child that stares at me from a distance, and I smile when I see love, instinctive love that is.
