I awoke in a dazy spring dream this week, and I was sitting on the edge of the Adige River, in the fair city of Verona, Italy. And, without a moment to spare, I saw the ghosts of Romeo, and Juliet, and the house of the Capulets. A breath of fresh air overcame me, and in an instant, I realized my dream was but a dream inspired by the insight of a young and awe-inspiring photographer by the name of Ashley Summer.

Ashley, who lives in Rome, Italy, provides an innate capacity to provide for those of us who live half way across the world with such beautiful photography that one thinks they are in Italy without reason to believe otherwise.
Upon stumbling across Ashley’s work, I for one have seen a talent that can only be inherently instilled, and without such an eye for detail, in moments, and in life, that other photographer who would otherwise try to ‘capture life’ come nowhere near her remarkable still life shots.
